Mtech admission

Question

My gate score is 50/100 but cgpa is just 6 in btech. I am from open category so am i eligible for nit or iit admissions with low cgpa less than required i.e 6.5. Because most nit require 6.5 cgpa. Please guide me through this

its not a problem, but with this score you will not get iits but you will get nits.

well i have checked in all nit websites and they all require 6.5 cgpa so with 6.1 am i really eligible?? please double check for me as i have spent 50-60k on my gate preparation and have no clue will i get any nit or iit
