 What is the meaning of course completion?

1-Read everything and prepared notes.

2- 1+ solved all previous year questions.

3 1+2+ attempting test series.

I am very confused in this topic when toppers are  writing in their Blogs that,"They completed their course in the month of August or any month before oct  "
