Can a Mechanical Engineer get a job in CSE PSU?Will he be eligible for CSE PSU after MTech in Cse?

As per my knowledge, for getting a job in PSU through GATE, your stream in B.Tech and GATE paper should be same.

For getting M.Tech admissions in IIT's, no need of your stream in B.Tech and GATE paper should be same.

Thank You for your answer.I have another question : Can I apply for PSU after completing MTech in Computer Science branch?I have heard some PSU directly recruit through IITs, NITs would I be eligible for applying in them that time.
