$A^{2}$ = $\begin{bmatrix} 0&1 \\ 0 &0 \end{bmatrix}$   X  $\begin{bmatrix}0&1 \\0 &0 \end{bmatrix}$ = $\begin{bmatrix}0&0 \\0 &0 \end{bmatrix}$

Rank($A^{2}$) = 0
