other than top 3 nits rest is up to you i have few frnds who are studying in nits they say it is wasting 2 years coz there are lot of internal politics and if you are fav student of one lecturer then other will .... you.

yes. NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal etc which are top NITs are bad for research as per feedback.

Subject : Databse Topic: 2pl locking protocol..... If the given schedule is allowed under any 2pl( basic 2pl,strict or rigorous) then it is also allowed in conflict serializble , so if the schedule which is allowed in conflict serializable then also we can say it will be allowed in 2pl?

MadeEasy Test Series 2024 - In this question they have asked about the number of context switches that are happening. (Excluding the first and the last context switch). I am getting the answer as 5, according to the answer key it should be 6. I am not pre-empting process P when Q arrives as P has a higher priority than Q, in the solutions they have done the exact opposite, can anyone please tell me whether my approach is correct or I am missing onto something.
