Can anyone say why the range of ranks increased so much in just one day?What can be expect from that range of rank?

This year the Marks are going to be a little higher than previous years.
For e.g
Last year 70 normalized mark got rank about 50
this year in the app itself 70 normalized mark already has 69 students.
So, the pattern is quite evident.
Rank would be a little lower for what a person got on the same normalized marks last year..
Earlier the rank estimate was done based on previous year stats.
To account for the thing mentioned above, the rank estimate range has been widened.

I think you have good chances if you manage to get rank around 275..
If you get around 300, then also its possible.
