In the indexed scheme of blocks to a file, the maximum possible size of the file depends on:

  1. The number of blocks used for index and the size of index
  2. Size of Blocks and size of Address
  3. Size of index
  4. Size of block

we know that maximum possible size of file depend on the size of the blocks, the number of blocks used for the index, and the size of the address of the blocks.

so option A is incomplete

both option A and option D combine form the correct answer

because

Size of File = No of block addresses available for addressing one file * size of block

and from option A we can only calculate only no of addressable block

can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong ??
