when a programme is loaded in main memory ,it is aclled a Process. A Process reside in main memory. It has three states, namely ready Running and Blocked. In these three state a process can reside in main memory. Other state like NEW, SUSPENDED READY, SUSPENDED BLOCKED for a programme reside in secondary memory.

Hence from the given option it appears that option (B)is correct.
