BTech is equivalent to MCA/MSc, but not BCA/BSc.

For GATE, eligibility is BTech or equivalent degree/s: https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in

For JAM, eligibility is BSc: https://jam.iitr.ac.in

Qualifying JAM makes you eligible to enter IITs ( https://jam.iitr.ac.in/available-courses.html ), NITs, IIEST Shibpur and some GFTIs.

A Bachelor's degree in any branch of Science / Arts / Commerce (3-year program) is eligible for GATE CSE
