IIT Bombay has released Response key for gate 2021, you can check that on GOAPS. I hope gate overflow will provide the correct solution and rank predictor with normalization very soon. Let’s discuss here if you find any anomalies around the gate cse exam 2021.

I think Pragy's app has been in use for more than 4 years. Score calculation with or without normalization was always >99% accurate. Since most of the toppers will be using the app, there is no need of a prediction for top rankers - current rank once the total count reaches 20k+ will more or less be the actual rank.

I'm getting total marks of either 47.03 or 48.03 in Set-2, if I'm going by the marking scheme of AppliedGate. The confusion is since for 1 of the Digital Logic Design questions (question number 31 of AppliedGate pdf solution - the MUX question), the marks hasn't been mentioned and my solution to that question is correct.

I attempted 15 Mocks only from AppliedGate and my marks ranged from 46 to 68.

Honestly, I don't have any hopes left now, I believe people have done so much better in Set-2.

Same here bro, I am also from Applied Gate, and in the bucket of 50 to 70 in mock but, made terrible silly mistakes in the exam, because I lost my cool.

There is no need to conduct any poll. If anyone looks closely at the question id's he/she will observe that question id are sorted according to marks.

For Set 2 Marks calculation:

Question Id: 3091 to 3095---- 1 marks

Question Id: 3096 to 3100---- 2 marks

Question Id: 3101 to 3125---- 1 marks

Question Id: 3126 to 3155---- 2 marks

Guys, DON'T CHECK THE MADE EASY ANSWER KEY. It will just demotivate you. There are a lot of silly mistakes in their solution.

Why are they giving (+2) bonus on both probability questions, although one was difficult , but doesn't mean it's Ambiguous.

Also in the question "Which of following are not Intermediate representations ", they have said that CFG is not an intermediate representation.

And also on one OS question, every coaching's key has different answers.

So far in set 2, i feel these 4 questions need to be checked properly by Made easy, rest seem fine.

I don't think so, I might do a repeat.. This is the best-worst performance I'd given, my accuracy was too low even though I knew most of the answers(58 attempted), didn't bother to attend a single mock-test the biggest blunder from my side but hey GATE was my first time.
Too quick to draw any conclusion as of now but I believe everyone could've done a better job and be contended with themselves instead of loathing about their would-be/could-be marks due to the MSQs and mixed questions type.

Yes 1st attempt . Although not motivated for 2nd attempt , factors like 2 sets , normalisation, Msqs make gate unpredictable, so need to really think Hard before investing another year , i rather will try for some other exams like IIIT , bits etc , or prepare for interview, but I don't think I will get any calls

How are we sure about the marks per question here? Is it just based on assumption according to difficulty/ memory based?

As, I think the only source of truth for the same now would be the official Question Paper as nothing was given in the response sheet.

Normalization is not uniform for everyone even in a set. For some mark ranges, marks can increase for both the sets. You can see the normalization formula for how it works. Of course only by Sunday these normalized marks will be final - almost final.
