Introducing GO Classes - for GATE CSE 2022

We are happy to announce that GO Classes (formed by GATE Overflow senior members Sachin Mittal and Deepak Poonia), in collaboration with GATE Overflow, is launching GATE 2022 Complete Course. Yes, no more complaints that there is “no personal” attention in GATE Overflow for GATE aspirants. 

Course Details:

• Live Lectures: All the classes will be live interactive classes, where you can learn, interact with faculty, ask your doubts live. 

• Commencement of classes: Classes will start from 26th July 2021. Classes Schedule will be shared in advance. 

• Class Timings: There will be two classes of 2 hours each, everyday of the week except Wednesday.

  • First class will be in the morning, from 7:30AM to 9:30AM.

  • Second will be in the evening, from 7PM to 9PM. 

• Recordings of lectures: ALL the live lectures will be recorded as well and can be watched anytime after the live class. 

• Course Duration: From 26th July to 15th December. 

First Subject that will be taught is Discrete Mathematics. It will start on 26th July 2021. 

Discrete Mathematics and C-Language subject classes are FREE for all.

Yes, you can do so. Also there will be an Early Bird offer, with 20% discount, to be announced tomorrow. This offer will have a duration of 10 days i.e. it will be valid til 5th August.  So, if you enroll after 5th August, Early bird offer benefits won't be there.

We recommend that students follow the entire course. 

I can say that if you prepare dedicatedly for 5-6 months with this course and follow the instructors, complete all homeworks, lectures, practice sets on time, you'll get top GATE rank for sure. 

There will be daily homeworks, If you complete them regularly, GATE is cracked.

No. Test Series is Not included in the GATE 2022 Complete Course. 

In the course, there will be weekly Quizzes and for every subject there will be full length test and finally 1 mock test after the course is completed. These will be included in the course itself with live discussion of tests.

Gateoverflow test series is recommended for more practice, learning time management, overcoming silly mistakes and improving concepts.

There are a lot of us Gate 2022 aspirants, who have completed few subjects already(For eg, I've recently finished C and DM), judging from the structure of the course, Will I have to study them again?? I in a way, see this as a big time waste in this case. But at the same time Proper structured preparation routine is also a must, to get a good AIR. I also have concerns regarding the fact that our syllabus will be completed in Mid Dec. Most of the toppers(GATE 2021 AIR under 1k) would have already finished their first Full-Revision by November. Will I really stand a chance against them?

I don't doubt the quality of the content of GO classes, and I also believe you guys aren't here just to make money either. But I see my issues as genuine. What advice do you have for someone like me??  That's all I wanna know.

There will be homeworks for EVERY class, there will be quiz EVERY week, there will be practice set built from standard resources. Solution of ALL these (HW, Quizzes, Practice Set) will be discussed either in Live session or in recorded video solution. 

The subject you have already studied, you attend its classes and you will find that much more you will be learning.

This logic doesn't work actually. It does not matter how much time one has spent into preparation... What matters is "How good they understand the concepts, How good can they analyze" ..

A lot of students prepare 3-4 years for  years for GATE, but very few of them crack GATE. Why ? 

Because only those crack top GATE rank who "understand" the concepts well. A lot of students crack top GATE rank in only one year of preparation because that's all it takes to understand concepts well. 

We have almost 6 months now. We, faculties of Goclasses, are going to stay with students in this journey everyday. On Off day as well, we will be just one Whatsapp message or mail away from our students.

1. Sir, why one should follow this course and not the freely available standard resources which the faculties mentioned above, themselves followed while they were preparing for the GATE?

Arjun sir and various other people on GO have emphasized time and again about following standard resources and there are various examples of people who have cleared GATE after following them. So, we can say that following standard resources properly is a sure shot. The thing is time is very less in GATE 2022 and I don't want to spend my time on something which will not help in clearing the exam.

2. What will be the role of Arjun sir in this course? Will he teach?

Sir please make the evening classes timings as 7:30 to 9:30 as well. My job shift ends at 7:00 (sometimes even 7:15 or 7:20) so it would be easier for me to attend live lectures if you can do that. Also I think it would help in avoiding any kind of confusion in class timings if both morning and evening classes will follow the same time.

Hi. It's all about Understanding the concepts properly. Any resource which teaches you correct concepts with their proper explanation, proofs, ideas etc is good to follow. The problem with many resources is that either they provide wrong concepts or they just make the students by-heart concepts/results/theorems/tables/formulas etc. 

MANY GATE aspirants have by-hearted a lot of concepts and So, if there is a slight twist in the question, they can't tackle it.

We teach every concept from basics till advance, so that student understands the concepts well. Also concepts are taught with proofs, ideas and intuitions to improve student's analytical skills to tackle any sort of problems.

For revision, we will periodically have Revision Classes for subjects which are over. 

For time management and reducing silly mistakes in tests, Attempt GATE Overflow test series, Our Quizzes in the course etc.. Slowly slowly it will become better. It is an incremental process.
