I guess it really depends on how the requests are distributed. On an average this should be the order:
C-LOOK > LOOK > C-SCAN > SCAN > SSTF > FCFS
Please let me know if you have already found a solution.

Self Doubt Disk Scheduling
Suppose a disk has 100 cylinders, numbered from 0 to 99. At some time the disk arm is at cylinder 20, and there is a queue of disk access requests for cylinders 10, 22, 6, 38, 2, 40, 20. No of seeks in FCFS SSTF

Self Doubt regarding C-SCAN
Consider a disk has 200 cylinders, numbered from 0 to 199. At some time the disk arm is at cylinder 100, and moving towards right direction. There is a queue of disk access requests for cylinders 30, 85, 110, 100, 105, 126, 135, 55 and ... the R/W head when the LOOK algorithm is used compared to the CSCAN algorithm is ________. Please also mention the method of C-SCAN.

Self doubt
Suppose the following disk request sequence (track numbers) for a disk with 100 tracks is given: 60, 50,10,50,80,25,70. Assume that the initial position of the R/W head is on track 50. 1) If SSTF is used : As current R/W head is at 50 and ... have shortest seek as Head is already at 50 so both 50 request will be served before moving head somewhere else. AM right ? if not please explain

Self Doubt in Disk Scheduling
I am presenting here 2 doubts in the form of questions.Plz give proper explanation to these : Q1 : Out of the available disk scheduling algorithms , which can be considered as the best and most practical? Q2 : In CSCAN or CLOOK , we consider ... for those requests which are on the opposite side w.r.t. initial direction of head movement and hence not yet serviced ?
