What is the write miss and write hit?

write hit means the page on which you want to write is present in cache, similiarly write miss page is when page on which write to be performed is not in cache.

is it same for read miss or hit ?

For reading consider a book you want to read, if it there on your table then you simply open it and read it means read hit, if not you have to get from rack then read miss.

For writing consider you've to write someone phone number in phone diary if it is on the table then write on it means write hit otherwise you've to first bring it from rack then write on it mean write miss.

Whatever we require present in the cash then we sat cash hit (write hit)

Time taken to go and check the elements whether it is present in the memory are nit then we say HIT LATENCY 

if it is not present in the memory then we say CASH MISS or write miss
