Hi, I'm self-preparing for GATE 2018. There are only 2 months left and I've still got 3 subjects remaining (Digital + CSO + Networks).

Currently, I'm brushing up the subjects I've already finished along with Maths and Aptitude. I need some advice on how to prepare these 3 subjects, specifically Computer Networks.

Are there any good Computer Networks' notes available on the internet? If any, please provide the link.

I don't want to leave any subjects for GATE. I want to be fully prepared.

Even if you have 5 hours to prepare for CN, going through standard books is much better than going through any notes. Of course exam must be GATE.

@Akash Hi! I am also in a similar situation. self-study, 3 subjects left - DBMS, CN, Maths(other than discrete)

You can do them in december and do all the revision in Jan. Out of those 3, DLD is most easy.

@Arjun sir. Which book should I prefer for Networking? I read Foruzan during my 4th semester. Should I read it again or go for Kurose & Ross ??? Which one covers most of the syllabus.

As far as I have seen most GATE prev questions from CN can be found in any standard CN text book like Forouzan or Kuroze. Give more importance to basics and to the exact topics mentioned in GATE syllabus.

If you prefer video lectures instead of books, check this course https://lagunita.stanford.edu/courses/Engineering/Networking-SP/SelfPaced/about

The course should take around 10 full days for completion and covers a major portion of the GATE syllabus.
