With regards to eligibility for Mtech admissions through GATE, IIT-B and IIT-KGP websites have mentioned both cases, either all years or just final year while calculating the average. Other IITs, the CCMT brochure as well as BITS-HD have just mentioned 60% in qualifying degree/exam

Which method should students consider if their degree is awarded based on final year/final 2 years.. Shouldn't "qualifying degree" imply what's mentioned on the degree? My all 8 sems agg is 59, whereas my degree shows first class

Will I be eligible to apply?

Also while calculating the average, should the marks given for NCC/NSS/Sports (which are added separately to the total) be considered or ignored?
