First man have 4 x 5 x 6 choices
Second man have 3 x 4 x 5 choices
Third man have 2 x 3 x 4 choices

Also can be viewed as

P(4,3) * P(5,3) * P(6,3) because distinct items on distinct man

according to me in second part apply principle of addition instead of principle  of multiplication
