IISc Research Field

Question

Can anybody please tell what INTERDISCIPLINARY PROGRAM - CYBER PHYSICAL SYSTEM is in IISc? It seems to be an interesting research area by whatever I have read but after seeing the cut off scores for this field it seems nobody is much interested in this field. What may be the reason for such less interest in this field?

No it is for CS people also. But it's a Phd programme only. This may be the reason for such low cut offs

It is very much similar to computer science in cybersecurity or information security.

Ya I also concluded this after searching about it on the net. But I wanted to know why are the cut offs so low(~300) for this field?
