  • If a schudle is in strict 2pl then it must be

  1. All exclusive modes taken by a transaction must be held untill  transaction commits.
  2. It should be conflict serializable
  3. It should be strict .
  4. It is in growing phase and shrinking phase .

Option b is right

Sir when a schdule is said to be strict it means the every write operation will be done of T1 first completely then write of T2 will be done, Read can come in any order ??

As here R1(A) comes then R2(B).

I thought in strict first all the operation i.e. reads as well as writes will be done then T2 will be start to execute.

Is it sir?

Strict ---->If a transaction T1 writes data item "A" and some other transaction T2 R(A)/W(A) must delay untill T1 commit.
