x can't be 3 either in LHS or in RHS

Oh i get it.

is it because using 3 as base we can't represent other than 0,1or 2?

No solution

because x>3 as every value in the number is <=3 according to LHS,But in RHS  the base is 3 ,so every digit must be less than 3

so LHS not equal to RHS so ...
