PERSON CAN GET 2,1 AND LOSE 3

SO PROBABILITY OF GETTING  2 IS 1/4

PROB. OF GETTING 1 IS 2/4

PROB. OF LOSSING 3 IS 1/4

SO EXPECTED GAIN OR LOSS IN ONE SUCH  GAME =2*1/4  +1*2/4  +(-3)*1/4

1/4

SO IN 100 SUCH GAMES 100*1/4

25

$P(\text{Win}) = P(\text{HH}) + P(\text{HT}) + P(\text{TH}) = $$\large \frac{3}{4}$

$P(\text{Loss}) = P(\text{TT}) = $$\large \frac{1}{4}$

So in every 4 plays there will be 1 $(TT)$ where we will lose ₹3 but in remaining 3 plays we will win $2+1+1 =$  ₹4

So total amount won in 4 plays = ₹1

Similarly, Total amount win in 100 plays = $\frac{100}{4} =$ ₹25
