It is given that perimeter are equal so

4*side(square)=3*side(triangle)

4*(2y+3) = 3*(4y)

8y+12=12y

4y=12

y=3

parameter of square - 4 *(length of one side) = 4 *(2y +3) == 8y + 12.

parameter of triangle - a+b+c = 4y

8y +12 = 0

4y +0 = 0

(-)  (-)

4y =  12

y = 3
