Question

a group of n stations share a 100kbps pure aloha channel .each station outputs a 1000B  frame on average every 50 sec . the maximum value of N?

answer given as  920 but i am getting 115

N*THROUGHPUT OF EACH STATION = AVAILABLE BANDWIDTH

Tt = 0.08 

so in 50 sec 1 frame transmitted so in o.o8 sec ,  0.08/50  = 0.0016 frame transmitted

so our G = 0.0016

now use formula , N   *  G*e^-2G = 0.184

coming N = 115
