For a given process, the page table/memory mapping table is bijective. Generally it is used to translate virtual address to physical address but  becaus  of its bijective nature should work the other way as well.

The correct answer is (a) Translate virtual address to physical address. Memory mapping tables are used to translate virtual addresses to physical addresses so that the processor can access data stored in main memory.
