Ans C , praise. Rest all have same meaning.

praise have positive impression, all others are the synonym of each other have same opposite impression

Mock :  Make fun of someone in a cruel way 

Deride : express contempt for (Contempt means offense of being disobedient)

Jeer : make rude and mocking remarks

So the three options are opposite to the meaning of praise.
