I would suggest not to read the whole passage first, first read all the options and try to identify what is asking. Sometimes they can ask from a point which is hidden inside the passage, or sometimes they can ask regarding the whole passage like what can be the conclusion or suitable title.
Now, you can read the whole passage, but remember focus only on keywords and key points, and try to analyze them, or try to search only that key-point from where the question is asked.
I tried this approach, and found this way is taking little less time and slightly higher accuracy of getting correct.
