Is counting sort and bucket sort present in gate syllabus?

I have seen questions about Radix Sort but not about bucket sort and Counting sort and hence my doubt

Question: Have you seen the name Radix Sort, Merge Sort, or Quick Sort in the syllabus?

Answer: NO.

The terms are used in the syllabus is "Searching and Sorting Techniques". Hence you can not exclude any methods. They can ask any thing under those word. Hence I will suggest you that read as much as you can, don't left any thing just because that has never been asked. If a question is never asked then its solely means that its having high probability that that will asked this year. All the best.
