Hi ,
While Applying for higher degeree courses in reputed institutes like IITs and other Top colleges there is a mandatory coloumn called Financial Suppot .

Financial Support

  • HTRA
  • UGC-NET
  • UGC-JRF
  • CSIR-JRF
  • INSPIRE
  • Project

What do this mean ? How can one seclect a option from this ?
I'm new to this, got no clue to select an option. I havn't written any UGC-NET exams ,or any others . How am I going to get a final support ,then ?
Do  I have to write any exams like UGC-NET to get this benefit ?

By default HTRA is what you should choose which means stipend goven by MHRD for selection via GATE/NET etc. Some institutes also have project funding.

Not if selection is via GATE. Each of those in the list is applicable for those who gets selected via it. UGC NET is only for those with Master degree and CSIR NET is stopped for engineering. INSIRE scholarship is there for University toppers but in India most University toppers do not know that such a thing exists :)
