Question

What are the minimum eligibility criteria for Mtech in IIT's.  and what does this mean ?:

For all B.Techs. from IITs graduating with a CGPA of 8.0 or above, the requirement of qualification through GATE is waived off.

 and Do IIT's also offer MS program and what is the difference between Mtech and MS in India. ?

I saw this and its written that :M.Tech.   (High Value Assistantship)/MS(R) (Admission with test/interview)

what this test/interview is about and what is the level of that?
