Consider a relation R(ABCD) with functional dependency F:{ AD → B, AB → C }. Is AB → C partial or total dependency?

Here that is not the case

So, no partial dependency

Now A->B->C

here if B is not key or not part of key and then onlytransitive dependency exists

But here AB->C

B is part of key

So, can we not say no transitive dependency too?

According to a similar question in ACE material, AB is considered to be a part of key.
