Answer is A because sectors are starting from 0 so last will be 1023,Similarly there are 10 recording surface 5*2=10 but numbering starts from 0 so 9 is number and 500 cylinders so last will be 499 as numbering starts from 0.

See they says first sector will be 《0,0,0》hence the  last will be 《500-1,5*2-1,1024-1》

Bcoz they started from 0th sector.

If they might ask what is the last sector address then

(499*10*1024)+(9*1024)+1023=5119999
