Why Gray codes are called reflected codes?

how you are generating the gray codes ?

if you know the process then you will understood why we will call them as reflected codes or mirror codes.

Because 2nd half of values are mirror images of 1st half values

Remove the most significant bit and you obtain a nice reflected sequence:
