What is the effect on line utilization if we increase the number of frames for a constant message size?

 

1. Lower line efficiency
2. Higher line efficiency
3. No change in line efficiency
4. No relation between line efficiency and frame size

Since we are given a constant message size and also since no information is given , we consider a single line for transmission , whether you send a single frame or divide a frame into parts, it will not have any effect on line efficiency. This is true under the assumption that only a single line for transmission is present.So 3 should be the correct option. There is no other way to explain this answer.

Plus it would be wrong to say that there is no relation between line efficiency and frame size beacuse if frame size increases, line utilization or efficiency or sender utilization increases as well.
