If we are given direct mapped cache, we have to add Multiplexer delay to the comparator delay ?

We know  direct mapping is governed by block no =block to be mapped%number of line

in a mux--NUMBER OF SELECT LINE=no of bits to represent line no.

NUMBER OF INPUT =number of lines in the cache..

NUMBER OF MUX REQUIRED=number of bits of tag (as every mux is configured to use 1 bit)

but each mux will be working parallely...so in the question if it is not neglected then take single mux delay

and also 1 comparator(will be given in form of k(i.e number of tag)eg 10/k..) will be required..

so if it is not said to neglect will take 1 mux delay and 1 comparator delay

then why here we have not added mux delay

If given then add, else it must be too small so neglected.
