what is join circle request in GO site and what is the advantage of this and what is the use of this and if i sent circle request to anyone ort accept the request from anyone what does means ?

private messages can be good or it can be bad too. We can’t surely say it as an advantage. If doing private message is an advantage then this feature would be implemented on stackoverflow. I was in mental pain for almost one and half year due to this private message thing here. There is a high chance that two unknown person will be in the circle and then start discussing questions and then they come to facebook, whatsapp etc. and then attachment, frustration, irritation and there are so many things can happen. I have gone through it and have seen similar thing with Habib sir in a post in the facebook group of GateOverflow previously and so, I don’t believe in private messaging while preparing for any competitive exam (People might have different opinions also.) It is always good to discuss questions publicly in comments or chat room might be added if there were so many comments.

As of now the primary advantage of “Circles” is to have more privacy (think friend circle in Facebook). 

1. Restrict private messages to only those in my circle
2. Restrict wall posts to only those in my circle

Circles feature can also be used to restrict user tagging (mention) only from those in his/her circle. But this feature is not yet enabled on site – coming soon. 

For moderators only, we also have an option to add questions or answers (not comments) and make them visible only to those in his/her circle. This is a restricted feature and is there only for use by any private groups wanting to discuss only to their student group – for example to share any copyrighted content to authorized users only.
