What should I do to become Editor / Moderator of this site ?

I have seen many people in chat with green name and red name. I also wanted my name to be like that . What should I have to do to become Editor / Moderator / Administrator of this site ? IS it a given previlage or qcquired previlage ? Will I be able to get that ?

it is acquired privilage..you earn points and you earn rights..

i think crossing 4000 points will fetch you an editor right and crossing huge points like 20k for example(i am not sure) will give you a moderator.

and admisntrators are the admins or super admins of this site

Yes, any active member can be expected to be an editor. 4000 is not a strict requirement - those with good writing/editing skill can become that even before. Also, those who are good at pinpointing errors.

But going up the hierarchy is difficult. There have been no new moderator here for almost a year. Because those who are taking GATE are not made moderators. After GATE those who contribute back like Pragy, Arindam etc. are made moderators. Also, any mentors who want to help GATE aspirants.
