(I) Data link layer is divided into two sub layer 1) data link control and 2) mac layer so option (I) is true.

(II) At data link layer there are various protocol which does not use reliable delivery of packets (Ex, aloha) It uses acknowledgement to confirm that packets reach the destination or not.
