The number of nodes of height $\mathrm{h}$ in any $\mathrm{n}$-element heap is atmost:

  1. $n / 2^{n+1}$
  2. $\frac{n}{2^{h-1}}$
  3. $\frac{n}{2^{h}}$
  4. $\frac{n-1}{2^{h-1}}$

You have talked more about "contribution". How did you judge me that I only value "answers" ? A "community" runs a platform not only the administrators or some specific people. Not only you or tens of people have contributed, there are many more. A single useful and a short comment of a user is considered as a contribution. Once, I had taken 2 days to write a single answer of a user's query by writing 8-9 pages of latex document. So, the pain is not only with the coding, other things are also painful. Everyone has their own limitations with their own area of interest like someone likes maths may not be very good in coding and vice-versa, and according to their limitations, someone makes contribution.

Also, to make some GO Classes questions and answers 4-5 times, it has taken 2-3 days each time with my company work and health issue and I have not requested for money because I don't prefer to ask money if someone needs a help for their work until a situation comes when the money is needed. And, Not only with answers and comments, I had supported this site with money also. I did it after joining my master to represent my thanks to Gateoverflow because it helped me during my preparation. So, not only with words, there are other forms also to show the kind gesture and saying thanks to someone. I don't want to mention all these things but you forced me to write it as you judged me that I only value "answers".

The whole point is you don't like some or all administrators here. Now don't argue over it giving another passage for a debate. As all administrators work under me it's what I do that you don't like. That's fine as each one has his own opinion and you have the right to say especially being a valuable contributor here. Now coming to the concerns you raised - - If you have any issue over best answer selection the best way is to use flag button there. And indeed the primary responsibility of selecting answer rests with the question poster. For previous year questions the answer selection is done by editors here and if you wish you can also do that - - except for previous year GATE questions most answers have maximum one good answer and so the selection must be straight forward.

Now coming to question closing - - the rule being followed is any question is closed and merged with the best formatted question available on site. Can you please explain why this should hurt anyone? Regarding previous year questions again adding them is restricted only to admins - for uniform formatting and for organization. No admin is getting any individual credit for that. In fact all of these questions are now being posted under "admin" account which is not a person. I'm not sure if you have seen the ISI PDF - - IIRC you're a top contributor there and that PDF will reach a lot of people. Without such organisation nothing is possible.

Do you judge everyone like that? Does all admins work under you, makes me dislike admins ?

Anyways, I appreciate that you have put my name in your pdf but the truth is: I was not using this site so that my name will be there in any pdf. If you want, you can remove my name from your pdf or remove points or anything you can do like this, I have already said, these things do not affect me in any way. I was saying my concerns here based on the things which I have felt here over few years.

Now, comes to the merging questions, you can't edit the already existing question on this site with your notations/formats but you can edit the answer which are already presented for formatting and sometimes wrong editing happens also (I still remember my two answers were edited wrongly) and here what was wrong with that ISI question which you have merged here and deleted one user's comment ?

And, why my question was hidden without letting me ? Was something wrong with that question ?

Now, comes to selecting best answer, yes I agree previously, editors can also select the best answer but I can also show you the answers which are wrong “conceptually” and selected by the admins in last couple of years (I can also show you the gate22 answer which is wrong but it is still selected as best and one answer was incomplete and selected as best and later it got modified). Does an answer which is wrong conceptually or incomplete, can be a candidate for best answer or after editing, will it still be the best answer ?

Anyone can do mistakes which can be either selecting answers or editing answers/questions because we are human beings but things can be improved like give few days/months to select answer as best, it should not be like that gate questions are uploaded and you have selected the answers in one-two days and you have privilege to select the answers, so you can do that. You can wait for some good answers which might be the candidates for the best answer though it is not well-defined thing here. Same goes with editing part, you can first ask the person to verify whether the edited text/image is correct or not, if you don't get the reply then you can double check and then edited. I really appreciate the thing which Arjun sir did here.

(Now, comes to flagging, If I flag an answer to show it is not best but would you believe it because a best answer for me might not be the best answer for you and vice-versa, so this would not work because "best answer" is not defined here)
