(it is depenedent on expression to expression )
each canonical form of SOP and each POS form are eqaul

MSOP is different thing and MPOS is different thing . it is true that they both gives minimum terms so that device use less circuit ( gates ) . but , they are not identical . MSOP covers true minterms whereas MPOS cover false maxterms …

Self doubt on literal count in k-map
Find least literal count of POS for the following k-map. X 1 0 1 0 1 X 0 1 X X 0 X 0 0 X Ans: Minterms = 2 quads + 2 pairs = 2*2 + 3*2 = 10 literals OR, = 1 quad + 2 pairs = 1*2 + 3*2 = 8 literals ... approach? Should I favour quad over pair or should it be according to requirement? Since here minimum no.of literals are asked to find so is 2nd approach correct?

GO Classes Test Series 2024 | Mock GATE | Test 13 | Question: 26
The figure below represents the Karnaugh map for a function $\text{F(A,B,C,D).}$ Note, $\text{ X'}$ stands for don't care. The simplified logical expression in the sum-of-products (SOP) form (i.e., the minimum number of ... can be converted into a circuit implementation using only NAND gates, which is shown in: a b c d
