Amit, nitin and ravinder entered into a partnership . Amit invested 16000 for 9 months, nitin invested 12000 for 6 months and ravinder invested 8000 for 12 months. At the end of an year the profit was 26000. Find the share of nitin in the profit.

The ratio of profits = 16000 * 9 : 12000 * 6 : 8000 * 12 = 6 : 3 : 4.

Nitin’s share in the profit = $\frac{3}{13}*26000 = 6000$
