IIT Bombay RA interview and IIT G counselling dates are clashing

Question

IIT-G has just released counseling dates for CS on 17th May.

IIT-B RA interviews are scheduled on same day.

Can we do something regarding this?

Earlier i saw somewhere IITK and IISC CDS dates were clashing.

Why can't IIT's coordinate among themselves while releasing dates?People having rank from 200-400 are already having limited colleges to consider and now from that dates have started to clash.

I dont understand why does IIT-G needs to call candidates for counseling in case they dont have written test for them.Why cant they just issue direct offers as done by IIT-B for TA and document verification can be done later?

Please give some valuable suggestions if something can be done.

At which email address did you send the email?I did not find any email address for PG admissions contact point on their portal(All other IITs have dedicated email address). So i sent a mail to CSE Head yesterday.But did not get any response.If you know some email for IITG   contact point,please tell me,i will also send.This thing frustrates a lot.

list of shortlisted candidates might be released today, someone told me that he got an reply mail from IITG and they told them that it's 27 april.

Can you please ask that person to share the email id from which he got reply?I want to ask them to postpone the dates so that we can attend both IITB-RA and IIT-G.I know it is close to impossible that they will change,but still i want to give it a try.

IITG call letters are released and someone on our behalf can also attend IIT-G counselling.But both institutes has asked for original set of documents

I think the main conflict here, is the set of original documents, because first we need to go for iitk, then for iitb, and then iisc-b. so instead of forcing iitb(ra) for attested copies better we force iitg for allowing us to submit the attested copies of documents instead of original documents.

I got that authorization mail on that one document is given, In that document directly it is given as self-attested documents will be allowed.

Form is open now, but only those who got approval from IITG or awaiting reply may fill it. @Diksha Many are awaiting the same. Hopefully they will send it by today evening.

this is the portal where we have filled application form initially and currently this is portal is not working.

So, I think sending them mail is the best option for getting a Duplicate copy of the application form.(until site is not working properly).
