Best answer

Let, height of the vertical pole is $h$ meters.

Now, according to above figure,

$\tan 45^{\circ} = \frac{h/5}{6}$

$\Rightarrow 1 = \frac{h}{30}$

$\Rightarrow h = 30$

So, height of the pole is $30\; meters.$

Answer is (C)
