GO Classroom for GATE 2019

Question

Since a lot of aspirants were looking for schedule and materials for GATE 2019, we are adding all the stuffs to GO Classroom (All GO users get GO classroom access once they confirm their email and verify their identity, if you don't have GO account you can create here) 

Update: Completed Discrete Mathematics (excluding Graph Theory) and Digital Logic schedules and materials are now on GO classroom. 

More subjectwise tests and full length tests will be added on GO for Classroom users.

Some points:

• Schedule is given on front page and we have started with Discrete Mathematics but you may join later and keep up
• Assignments will include programming ones, and at many places you can do an assignment only if you have completed previous ones
• We will be following only a single schedule (one given might be adjusted as per need)
• About 10 aspirants are with me in Thiruvananthapuram and we discuss GATE topics almost daily. The main contents of that will be uploaded as slides like this on the respective topic page in GO Classroom
• Since, the contents are being made for offline purpose we will be covering all topics, mostly as per the given schedule. 
• Any doubts in topics or assignments, you can ask in GO - since a schedule is followed in group it will be easy to get answers
• Assignments wont be graded but you can do self evaluation with the given solution
• In GO Classroom you have to go to each course page (from Site Home) and click "Enroll Me". Then you can see the materials, assignments and also receive notifications. 
• GO Classroom login details are automatically sent to anyone in GO when they confirm their email. There is no manual control over this. And you have to wait an hour after email confirmation for the account details. GO password and GO classroom password are DIFFERENT - if you forget your password on GO Classroom you have to reset it there and not on GO.
• For practice tests for GATE 2019
  • These are some subject wise tests added by me and Bikram Ballav
  • These subjectwise tests (2 sets of 30 questions for each subject) were added by Bikram Ballav
  • 4 full length mock tests were also added by Bikram Ballav
  • This time we will be adding some more full length tests. 1 is already given by Ruturaj Mohanty and probably 2 more will be active by December. 

Who all can join?

1. Any self preparing aspirant can join this for free and get everything available including tests
2. Those who are having coaching, 
   1. If you are taking offline coaching, you can join here for free as they are providing you physical environment for study and none of them have objected to their questions being shared on GO.
   2. If you are taking online coaching of GATE Book or UGC NET lectures, you can join for free.
   3. If you are taking any other online coaching especially those who are acting against GO, please do not join here.

You have to go to Discrete Mathematics course and then click "Enroll Me". Other courses will be open for enroll as per the schedule.

ya I am doing the same. But when I click on DM course it again ask me to update profile which are required and already filled. When I click on update button it shows "error in updating details"

You changed your GO username after GO Classroom account is created? Your username there is showing tusharp and here it is Tushar Patil. This is causing the error.

I have created a new account on gate overflow the id pass works fine in gateoverflow , but not in go classroom gate course. I didn’t get any mail with a separate password as suggested in this page. Please help

Sir, will it be possible for us to only access the course  contents like those slides (as and when you update them in a particular course) without solving the assignments of previous course? (As you said that one can do the assignment only if he/she has done previous assignments)

I'm asking this because I'm doing self study and have already finished some subjects. My order of subjects doesn't exactly match with that provided in the GO classroom. So it would be helpful if I (and others like me) can access the slides and other material without the compulsion of completing the previous assignments.

@Ankit The courses will be open only as per schedule. You may follow in any way you like. But assignments will have dependency.

Slides are under Combinatorics section of Discrete Mathematics - but visible only if you click them. Will be making them more easy to find. Assignments also on Discrete Mathematics page. First one must go to site home, Discrete Mathematics - Enroll Me.

Did you change your email address in GO?

Okay. Then someone might have hacked your account and changed your 'ymail' email ID to 'gmail' one. Once you change your email in GO, GO classroom account wont work- you may create a new GO account.

After logging in, its redirected to the Edit Profile page, and even though I have entered all the required details, it still shows a red question mark near Name, Surname, Email fields, and I'm unable to go further and register for courses. Please help!

No Sir, the issue persists.

@Sumaiya The red mark is normal - it is just for showing they are compulsory. You need to tick the check box in Other fields to complete the profile.

@Tushar Currently we are updating weekly only. From next week will update daily. This week we did Number System, Boolean Algebra and Minimization.

You should get the mail within 24 hours containing the password for GO classroom.

Enrollment is self, so you can unenroll any time. And only if you like what is happening in GO classroom you need to pay. Payment link is fixed now.

Schedule is for all subjects. You have to see respective subject pages - Enroll option is there for all subjects. Currently Discrete, Digital , Programming & DS and Algorithms are done.

You can adjust the schedule and do them faster. Also, the schedule is ending by November end, so you do have 2 months after that for GATE.

If you are doing self study and promises not to sell your rank to Institutes you can just mark the same in your profile and download link will appear.

Login into GO classroom and go to ur profile page and see there will be an option known as Self Preparing or have done donated to GO or having 5000+ points in GO and check that box and save it and then u can download the GO pdf by clicking on Gate 2019 folder.

Actually this is not like a formal coaching class. And also this was only meant to be one time (my family will kill me if I continue :) So by November end it should end. We might extend it till GATE, but can't confirm about it now. If there's class I'll keep a seat for you :)

How to focus on study more and more?

@Gaurav As of now I dont have a better suggestion - but solving exercise questions from standard books is definitely worth. Also, doing google search like "probability questions MIT" etc. is also a good way to get quality questions. After the schedule is over by November end, I'll collect and give many good questions.

In GO classroom, Probability Course is not available according to the schedule of GATE 2019.

When I open GO classroom link it prompts me to enter my First name and Last Name and after entering that I am getting this "Error updating user record error". Please help me rectify this error as I want to join your post gate 2019 course at GO classroom. Here is the screenshot of error.

It works once your GO userid is verified. But you should wait one month before joining the courses as the current users will be removed when 2020 starts.

Don't rely on formulas(except trivial ones), instead you should learn an underlying concept beneath it. In GATE exam, no qsns are directly formula oriented....
